November 16 Chonda Pierce Comedy Tour Tickets $24 each, we have 5 Tickets left. Event is at Chestnut Ridge Church in Morgantown. Group will be meeting at Crossroads at 4:15 to carpool and to go out to eat prior to event. Contact June McClosky at 301-616-2990 for more details.

 

 

 

November 19 ‘Thanksgiving Blessing’ is a food outreach in Bloomington, MD that provides food to over 75 families! Food will be packed on November 19 from 5-630 PM. Call 304.813.2174 for more information.

 

 

November 23 Meals on Wheels. We are looking for families who are willing to pack a plate of their Thanksgiving meal and share it with a local resident. Contact 240-442-5427 for resident’s contact information

 

 

November 24-25 This is an Annual fundraiser for the Dove center. We are donating an entry  and making a financial contribution, but they are also in need of volunteers to work the festival. Sign ups available at church or contact Chris Baker at cbaker@crossroadsthechurch.com if interested in signing up.

 

 

 

November 25 We will be singing Christmas Carols at 6 PM  at Uno’s back lawn. Everyone is encouraged to participate.

 

 

 

November 27  ALICE  is a training course designed to teach proactive survival strategies in violent intruder /shooter situations in public places, schools, and places of worship. All Crossroads Volunteers are encouraged to attend starting at 630 at Crossroads Church

 

 

December 1 Samantha Funding the Arts Christmas Home Tour. A ticketed home tour featuring a number of beautifully decorated local homes. Tour finished with food and fellowship at the final stop. Proceeds benefit Samantha funding the Arts. Call 301-616-3660 for more information.

Breakaway Youth

 

Breakaway Youth Crossroads hosts a youth meeting every Wednesday from 6:30-8:00pm. This is for ages 13 and up and will include food, fellowship and Bible discussion.

Compassionate Friends offering friendship, understanding, and hope to bereaved families that have experienced the death of a child. 2nd Thursday of every month from 6:30-8:30 in the Crossroads Cafe
