Customer Service Assistant

Prime Safety is looking for a reliable Customer Service Assistant in our local area to perform tasks that will ensure the safety of our customers and that will aid in the growth of our small business.


RESPONSIBILITIES

· Basic bookkeeping tasks

· Daily database entry

· Assist and support other company personnel

· Create and maintain files and records

· Answer the phone to assist customers and vendors

· Prepare outgoing mail

· Monitor office supplies

· Research and obtain product and customer information

· Organize stock and maintain inventory

· Receive deliveries and inspect products for defects and damage

· Load and unload packages

· Process, package and ship orders accurately

· Document orders, materials and any stock movements

· Light cleaning (dusting, sweeping, etc.) as needed

· Assist with customer equipment when necessary

· Perform other duties as assigned


REQUIREMENTS

· Solid data entry skills

· Proficient in English and in MS Word and Excel

· Comfortable using computer programs and the internet

· Customer-service oriented

· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

· Good organizational ability

· High school diploma

· Familiarity with office equipment

· Basic math skills

· Solid time-management abilities

· Ability to maintain confidentiality

· Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers, and colleagues

· Multi-tasking abilities

· Ability to follow directions

· Willing to learn new things and to accept responsibility

HOURS

· Weekdays – 4-5 days per week

· Normal business hours - day shift w/ flexible start and end time

· 20–35 hours per week based on successful candidate's needs
